Our Story

The concept of Didoline was originally sparked when Michael Colella, Lastpixel's CEO and Chief Creative Officer, had to wait an extra week to receive a package he ordered online. The package required a signature for a final delivery, which he and his wife never seemed to be home when the delivery person showed up.

Three times they saw the yellow slip sticking to their front door, with the third "sticky" notifying them they had to go to their town's post office to pick up the package. The convenience of online ordering ... huh.

From there, Michael thought,

"Wouldn't it be cool if I could have signed ahead of time guaranteeing the package would be delivered and waiting for me when I expected it?"

Creating a perfect opportunity for a Windows 7 commercial. Oh yeah, especially when you pay extra for it to be priority shipped.

[ding] = Didoline. It did take years of tinkering, testing and evaluating use cases to get Didoline to be a solid prototype and patent submission worthy, as well as surrounding himself with people that were talented and had passionate.
